Dripping Away
As Earth’s ecosystems and species continue to deteriorate, I hope to shed light on the impact that human actions have on endangered species. To do so, I created a series of colored pencil drawings titled Dripping Away. Through the use of hyperrealism, each endangered animal is depicted accurately as the main subject. With a touch of surrealism, dripping color appears to be leaking from each animal. This symbolizes the animal’s gradual extinction and the fleeting nature of their existence.
